At a wedding in Fairfield, friends from Maine asked if we’d ever been to La Stella’s. After her high accolades, when we got home we headed straight over for some lunch….guess who arrived moments later? Yes same friends. Unknowing that we would be there! The food was fabulous! Super friendly staff and the owners all made us feel like family! You don’t get that feel in many places these days! We’ll definitely be back. Thanks!

Last time I came here I was not a big fan but I tried it again and I was blown away! The arugula salad was delicious with pecans, blueberries, and goat cheese. Although if you don’t want a sweeter salad I wouldn’t recommend it, it is delicious if that’s what you want though! The prosciutto pizza was also amazing! Definitely recommend the pizza.

What a great find!! There was a lot of options when I was searching for Italian around Norwich and I’m so glad we picked here. The menu was long and had every option I could think of. The pasta was DELICIOUS and the service was fabulous. Fair prices and hardy portions. Would recommend!

Amazing! We were in town for the UConn graduation and we ordered carry out one night. It was about 20 minutes from our AirBNB and totally worth the drive. Great pizza and they had a gluten free option. Easy to double park and pick up. Looks like a fun place to dine in as well.

Ordered food for pick up tonight, which I understand it was busy. However the quality was terrible. This is the second time this has happened. My shrimp was black, my wings were suppose to have the bourbon sauce, as you can see no sauce came on wings. The order took over 2 1/2 hours to be prepared. I’m hesitant to continue to come back, first experience was great but it was during the day. The second and third time (today) was terrible, which was all in the evening.

Went here with my children, and here’s a recap. I sat at the far end table closest to the restroom since I have a stroller and my children might want to use the restroom. I sat there for a good while before I was even offered water. They had a bigger party to attend to so I was probably not high on the list. I finally got my water and the sweet waitress asked if my children would like a cup of water with a lid. Awesome. Then the children decided to go to the bathroom and when I went back there there was this weird smell I can’t quite put my finger on it. The bathroom looked clean but an air freshener might honestly help. In the bathroom I notice quickly that the toilet didn’t have a handle but a button that you press on the top to help save water which is a nice feature but since this is a public restroom I honestly thought that was gross. They also had a changing table which is great for having small children to change. Anyways, I’m here for the food so I can over look little details. I was very happy to know that they were able to customize my order because I wanted spaghetti but when i asked if they put sugar in their marinara I decided that I would prefer a vodka sauce. We also added a salad, and the ranch was great. So anyways, the food came out quickly, the spaghetti was delicious. I was also happy when the waitress asked if we would like two plates for the children. That was awesome because most places just assume that my children will eat off of my plate. My children will 100% be having food from my plate but not eating off my plate. So her asking if they wanted additional plates to place their food on was very nice

I've been a patron of this place for over four years.
We drive a little over an hour to enjoy this amazing Italian cuisine!
One of my favorites is the Eggplant Rollatini, which is served on penne with their *amazing* vodka sauce.
The freshmade creamy garlic dressing is superb! (We always take home a pint when we visit.)
I've also had their spinach salad topped with salmon. I was so impressed by the moist, tender, flavorful texture of the salmon!
We also have enjoyed their pizza, chicken parmesan, and ravioli with vodka sauce. I've tried many of their specials as well, over the years, and I've never been disappointed.
A new favorite I recently tried when dining there with friends is the spinach artichoke dip crostini. Just get it and try it; I promise you won't be disappointed!
The waitstaff is always so friendly, attentive, and helpful.

One of the other wonderful things about La Stella is that the owner is always doing things to give back to the surrounding community. Many times, I've seen posts about donations to community fundraisers, local soup kitchens, hospital staff during covid, etc.
If I lived closer, I'd eat there multiple times a week!
