Nina's Hot Dog Shop was a nice discovery, they have lots of choices, for all kinds of tastes and very budget-friendly, different from anything I'd ever tried and not like other places in Castelo Branco. It has a nice location, very central, and Nina is super friendly and gave great recommendations! I am definitely going to come back!

What a delightful find. Ninas hot dogs certainly hit the spot if you’re hungry and in need of a quick snack. Three choices of ‘Dogs’ then a delicious array of dressings for you to choose from.
I had the spicy Mexican which came with a full fresh chilli on top of Ninas home made veggi chilli. Mmmmm my mouth was alive with a wonderful flavour combination.
Nina is very friendly and it was a pleasure to take some friends there and sit outside watching the world go by whilst filling out tummies with scrumptious food.
Thanks Nina. I’m so glad I discovered you.

Nina's stories are nearly as wonderful as her food!

Located across the street from the city's bus station, Nina's Hot Dog Shop is a good spot to grab a bite to eat before or after you travel but you'll likely want to drop in, traveller or not, because the hot dogs are that good.

With a menu that changes regularly, Nina has something for everyone, ranging from sausages slathered in a sauce with the right amount of kick, bites topped with fresh salad, or maybe just a classic mustard/onion combo that perfectly compliments the doughy bun. If you can't decide, Nina is on hand to provide suggestions.

Nina can also give you allergen information and offers vegan and vegetarian options.

The hot dogs are reasonably priced too, at just €4 each for a vegetarian hot dog. I bought two, allowing me to try a few flavours.

Highly recommended and I'll surely be visiting again soon.

Would give more stars if I could! All the hot dogs can be made vegan, and everything is very well priced and fresh.
If you don’t come for the food, come to meet Nina as she is one of the most beautiful souls I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Nothing was too much trouble and we spent a lovely 3 hours here.
I hope to be able to return one day. Thank you again Nina!

Got to the Nina’s Hot Dog by accident and chose the place randomly, just looking for vegetarian options on Monday’s evening, thinking of grabbing something to eat on our way trough Castelo Branco. But our experience made us come back on our way back home as well. Delicious freshly made hot dogs, various options and even the ability to customize it, vegetarian and even vegan options as was mentioned. We were also surprised by 1€ vine and prosecco and welcomed by Luna (a very expressive and cute dog). But the main thing is the owner. Nina made our evening and gave us a farewell hug. Thank you so much for such an unexpected authentic experience and genuine connection on our trip 🙂
